VMAs 2023: Taylor Swift lidera la lista de nominados a los premios con 8 nominaciones
MTV ha anunciado este miércoles 9 de agosto la lista de nominaciones para los MTV Video Music Awards 2023, liderada por Taylor Swift con un total de ocho. Shakira, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo y Sam Smith también ocupan la parte alta de la tabla.
MTV ha anunciado la lista de nominados a los MTV Video Music Awards 2023. Una lista liderada por Taylor Swift (8), que puede hacerse de forma consecutiva con el premio ‘Vídeo del Año’ desde el Prudential Center de Nueva Jersey. En España, se podrán seguir en MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network y Pluto TV la madrugada del martes 12 al 13 de septiembre a partir de las 02:00h, después del pre-show a las 00:30h.
Los MTV Video Music Awards 2023 (VMAs) tienen como objetivo premiar a artistas cuyo impacto cultural y trabajo durante el último año ha transformado la industria musical. Referentes de talla mundial componen una lista de nominados liderada por Taylor Swift (8), que en la pasada edición se alzó con tres premios y que este año puede repetir en la categoría ‘Vídeo del Año’ por Anti-Hero. De cerca, le siguen SZA (6); Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo y Sam Smith, con 5 nominaciones; así como Shakira, BLACKPINK y Diddy con 4 nominaciones.
Además, este año se bate el récord de artistas nominados por primera vez a los premios, entre los que se encuentran Kim Petras (5), Metro Boomin (3), Rema (3), Ayra Starr (2), GloRilla (2), Ice Spice (2), Peso Pluma (2), Reneé Rapp (2), Yung Miami (2), así como Aespa, boygenius, Burna Boy, Davido, Eslabon Armado, FLETCHER, FIFTY FIFTY, JVKE, Lauren Spencer Smith, Musa Keys, PinkPantheress, Saucy Santana, Stephen Sanchez y Toosii. Todos ellos formarán parte de esta celebración de la música que se podrá seguir en España a través de MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network y Pluto TV la madrugada del martes 12 al 13 de septiembre a partir de las 02:00h, después del pre-show a las 00:30h.
Los fans ya pueden votar a sus artistas favoritos sin distinción de género en 15 categorías, incluida la nueva «Mejor Vídeo Afrobeat», en vote.mtv.com hasta el viernes 1 de septiembre. Las votaciones a “Mejor Artista Revelación” permanecerán activas hasta la celebración de los premios y próximamente se anunciarán los nominados a las categorías sociales, incluyendo «Grupo del Año» y «Canción del Verano». Toda la información sobre los premios en los perfiles sociales de @MTV y @VMA y uniéndose a la conversación social utilizando #VMAs.
